* Do you have any testimonials to show your services actually work?
I have been a Herbalist since 2013 and owned a business prior to The Nomad Apothecary, called Faded Leaves. This was also a herbalist business, but in a slightly different vein. I didn't do in depth consultations. I did brief 15 minute consultations and customized herbal preparations. I have tons of reviews I could share about those preparations working for the single, less complex issues. And while that is all well and good, much has changed now. I have grown as a herbalist and person. I have gotten more education and practice with herbs. I am more adept now at using them as Nature intended.
The only testimony I have of treating in depth, complex health problems, currently, is my own and my children's. Over the past 10 years, I have used herbs for my own stage 4 endometriosis. This alone comes with multiple problems: horrible pain, wacky periods, imbalanced hormones, mood swings, terrible PMS, multiple body systems involved. I was able successfully, through my herbs, exercise changes, diet changes, and supplements, to keep my endometriosis from progressing for 7 years. I was able to work full time and exercise regularly. When it did progress and I ended up with surgery to fix the issues that had occurred, my surgeon was absolutely amazed that I had not only been functioning, but not bedridden. She said I should have been disabled by the amount of pain and agony that it should have been causing me. I had pain, but not to the degree she felt it should have been. I still use my herbs to keep my hormones regulated and help with my mood swings.
That is the power of herbs. Two and half years ago, I was diagnosed with ADHD and that threw a wrench into my herbal plan I had built for myself. This was a condition I hadn't assisted with before. Either with clients or in my family. I set out on a path to find what worked for me. For a while that was stimulants, then stimulants and herbs, and now just herbs. I have studied, researched, talked with other Herbalists (side note: not very many tackle ADHD or know much about it), and tried new herbs I found might help. After being my own guinea pig for all this time, I have now found a blend that works great for me and I want to share that with other womxn like myself. I am now off all stimulant medications and functioning as well as I was on them! Its been amazing.
I am living my best, healthiest life, thanks to my herbs and the blend I created just for me. I can do the same for you.
* It's too overwhelming to remember all of what you told me and how to take all these herbs you formulated! I feel so lost. Can you help?
That is a very valid and understandable concern. Many health conditions are tied in with others and we can't just assist one and neglect another. As such this lends to sometimes having multiple blends, tinctures, creams, salves, etc to use for a regimen and can definitely lead to confusion and overwhelm. Especially for my client's with memory issues or brain fog.
All preparations are delivered with written instructions and dosing. Videos are available on the YouTube channel to help with valuable instruction on how to prepare certain blends. Support is available via phone, email, or text/messenger as well to answer questions, clarify instructions, or walk you through anything that just isn't clicking.
The Nomad Apothecary is not just a provider of herbal preparations. It is a full service herbalist practice. This means you receive education, coaching, instruction, and empowerment to help you take the lead on your health journey when you are ready, not when an arbitrary date arrives on the calendar. I will never make you run before you can walk.
I offer true, client-centered, holistic care, from beginning to end.
*I don't know if I can afford all this. It's a big investment.
You're right. It *is* a big investment. And as such is understandably scary to think about taking. Let's change the narrative though, shall we? What happens if you do NOT spend this money for the consultation and herbal preparations today?
Perhaps your health continues to decline. Perhaps you end up in the hospital. Perhaps you need a procedure done or need to see multiple specialists. That cost adds up and quickly. It takes a mental and physical toll on your health and wellness. It decreases your quality of life.
Now, if you take the leap, today, and invest in yourself, invest in your health, your wellness, your pathway to being back in the driver's seat, what happens? In a few months, you feel more empowered, you feel in control of your health and wellness journey, you've learned so much about your body, you are happy and healthy (mentally and physically), your quality of life is much improved. What can you achieve when your life is healthy and balanced? When wellness is no longer a speck in the far distance that you never hoped to reach?
You can not afford to NOT invest in yourself, in your future, in your health and wellness. What would you do with a completely changed life? Let's find out together, shall we?
